The 4th of July Ag Parade & Fireworks show is brought to you by:
Join us on the 4th of July to celebrate our farmers and our country's freedom! This will be the fifth year of our Ag Parade that continues to grow in size and popularity with each year! The parade route stretches from the Headland Peanut Co-op to Douglas Park and features antique show tractors, brand new shiny equipment, and a little bit of everything in between. We even have the CornDodgers' Candy Cannon at the end!
Additionally, our firework show, which also continues to grow in size, is one of the few in the area that will always be held on the 4th of July, no matter what day of the week it falls on. Make sure you arrive to Douglas Park early, as spots tend to fill up quickly!

History of the Ag Parade
What started as a celebration of our agricultural roots and the city's 150th birthday, has blossomed into one of the more unique events we host annually that people always look forward to. The first year included 40 entries, but now it has grown to over 60 entries at last year's event. Most parades will have a tractor or two, but few to none have an entire parade dedicated to them! Being the middle of summer, most farmers in the area have the free time to attend the parade or drive in it. The Ag community will always be the backbone of our economy and culture in Headland, which is why it is so important to give them the thanks and celebration they deserve.
